Covid-19 Risk Status turns orange: Close Contact

Closed contacts of confirmed case were those as below:

• Face-to-face contact with a confirmed case within 1 metre and for at least 15 minutes;
• Living in the same household as a COVID-19 patient;
• Working together in close proximity or sharing the same classroom environment with a COVID-19 patient;
• Travelling together with COVID-19 patient in any kind of conveyance;
• Health care associated exposure without appropriate PPE (including providing direct care for COVID-19 patients, working with health care workers infected with COVID-19, visiting patients or staying in the same close environment of a COVID-19 patient).

Quarantine Period for Close Contact / Tempoh Kuarantin Kontak Rapat

Asymptomatic: No Quarantine and Practice preventive measures for 5 days from day of exposure

Symptomatic: Encouraged to quarantine and perform RTK-Ag

Kriteria untuk kontak rapat kepada kes yang disahkan positif adalah seperti di bawah:

• Bersentuhan secara bersemuka dengan kes yang disahkan dalam jarak 1 meter dan sekurang-kurangnya 15 minit;
• Tinggal dalam rumah yang sama dengan pesakit COVID-19;
• Bekerja dalam jarak yang dekat atau berkongsi persekitaran bilik darjah yang sama dengan pesakit COVID-19;
• Perjalanan bersama pesakit COVID-19 dalam apa-apa jenis pengangkutan;
• Pendedahan berkaitan penjagaan kesihatan tanpa PPE yang sesuai (termasuk menyediakan penjagaan langsung untuk pesakit COVID-19, bekerja dengan pekerja penjagaan kesihatan yang dijangkiti COVID-19, melawat pesakit atau tinggal dalam persekitaran rapat yang sama dengan pesakit COVID-19).
