LEGO, STEM, Coding Workshops Hong Kong

Elon Musk learned computer programming using a manual and, by age 12, sold the code of a BASIC-based video game he created called Blastar to PC and Office Technology magazine for approximately $500. While staying in the office sleeping on the couch because he could not afford an apartment, he did the original coding behind Zip2, which was sold to Compaq for $307 million when he was 28. He is now one of the most successful people in the world.

Learning how to apply S.T.E.M. and Coding in creating things that add value can open many doors. It’s a great skill to have for kids who have interests in it. Here is where they can attend workshops and classes on LEGO engineering, robotics, coding, etc.

creative coding hong kong

An introduction to STEAM learning for age 5 – 8 with a twist, they coined S.M.A.R.T to cover Science, Math, Art, Robotics and Technology – Science & Circuitry projects by mixing it up with Arts & Crafts, Music and PlayDoh.

They use Edison robotics, a super powerful Lego compatible robot with its own Drag & Drop programming App called Edware to learn to program the robot’s sensors, motors, LED lights and sound to do all sorts of fun things. Others: M.I.T. developed Scratch Jr., Java with Minecraft, coding with mBot, etc.
